Disney+’s upcoming fantasy K-drama “TWELVE” features an all-star lineup including Ma Dong-Seok, Park Hyung-Sik, Seo In-Guk, Lee Joo-Bin, and Sung Dong-Il. Taiwanese rising actress Regina Lei, known for her breakout performance in “Port of Lies,” makes her Korean drama debut as the enigmatic Snake Messenger, “Bell.”
Regina Lei shared her excitement, saying,“I’m playing the Snake Messenger, Bell — and it’s such a fun coincidence that the series will be released in the Year of the Snake! I’m really looking forward to this project’s premiere in August and can’t wait to reunite with my fellow Messengers again. I miss them so much!”

Inspired by the Eastern Zodiac legend, the series follows twelve celestial messengers who take on human forms to protect humankind, waging an epic battle against forces that seek to unleash ancient evil.
At the forefront stands Tae-San, the Tiger Messenger and leader of the Twelve. The role is portrayed by internationally acclaimed actor Ma Dong-Seok, known for his performances in Marvel’s “Eternals” and the blockbuster “Train to Busan.”

Ma Dong-Seok leads the Twelve in their battle against “Ogui” (tentative translation) — a sinister force symbolized by the raven that threatens both humanity and the messengers. The role is played by Park Hyung-Sik, who recently received acclaim for his powerful performance in “The Heirs of the Treasure Island.”
Seo In-Guk takes on the role of “Won-Seung,” the Monkey Messenger who dreams of becoming the next-generation leader. The acclaimed actor, known for his nuanced performances in “Doom at Your Service” and “Death’s Game,” once again showcases his emotional range.
Lee Joo-Bin portrays “Mireuk,” the Dragon Messenger whose powers were sealed after a fierce battle with demons. Known for her subtle and emotional acting in “Divorce Insurance” and “The Roundup: Punishment,” Lee brings depth and quiet strength to the role.
Go Gyu-Pil, celebrated for his versatility and strong screen presence, plays “Doni,” the Pig Messenger. With his signature mix of humor and heart, Go is expected to deliver another memorable performance.

Veteran actor Sung Dong-Il portrays Ma-Rok, the only human chosen by the gods, who serves as the guardian and overseer of the Twelve Messengers. His character adds profound emotional depth and a strong sense of humanity to the epic narrative.
“TWELVE” will premiere worldwide on Disney+ on August 23.
